Position Title: Software Developer

Position Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team and help
us create innovative software solutions that will drive our company's success. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet our business needs.
Position Duties Summary:
• Maintain and develop our internal management software, including designing new modules, frontend development, backend development, etc.
• Create and improve charts and reports in order to get a real time perspective of our business.
• Provide technical support to staff, including software & hardware support for Windows PCs, switches & routers, IP Phones, Printers and DVR systems (Lorex).
• Advise of new technologies & equipment to be used in order to further improve our business.
Position Requirements:
• Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (foreign equivalent degrees accepted).
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in software development.
• Must have experience in software development in the insurance industry.
• Software Development and Programming:
- Proficiency in frontend development using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and Angular.
- Strong backend development skills with PHP and MySQL.
- Experience working with CodeIgniter framework.
- Ability to design and implement new software modules and interfaces.
• API Integration and Data Handling:
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful API services.
- Knowledge of data processing and manipulation for generating PDF and Excel reports.
- Familiarity with data backup strategies and implementation.
• Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and providing technical support for software and hardware issues.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems related to Windows PCs, networking equipment (switches & routers), IP Phones, Printers, and DVR systems.
- Expert troubleshooter of complex issues involving multiple information systems with integrations, databases, and business processes.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Experience in creating and improving charts and reports for data analysis.
